House Renovation Update | Baan Issara Ramkhamheng Soi 24, Bangkok.

Wow I What a difference it has already made. Several months into the project and already the new aluminum windows are in and now the special Makka wood living room windows are being done. The client chose Makka wood over Teak wood, due it, being a harder wood than Teak and also the colour. The wood is seasoned. So it is dried and in perfect state to install. In fact Makka is rapidly becoming a wood of choice in many luxury homes. All the main floors are Makka wood planks and even the stairs will be, with a glass side and Makka wood handrail. The living room has Makka wood frames with sliders. 2.8m high by over 3 metres in length. So they had to be custom made. Top two floors are to have a slight tint glass to reduce sun and heat. The new modern kitchen is being installed. Tiling is almost complete. Ceilings have been raised in certain areas, walls demolished to open up the space. All new bathrooms, lights and external canopy (which we are custom making). It was an extensive renovation and the client works overseas. So periodic meetings were on site but most of the time the client has relied on us to carry out works while they are away. It was one of the reasons they chose us. Trust in the contractors ability, experience and professionalism is vital in construction and in house renovation. The main supervisor has been doing renovation and remodeling for over 30 years, so has a wealth of knowledge. It makes all the difference. Especially if you are looking for good quality and expertise. We are very thankful to our client. It has been a pleasure to work with them.
