It is a good question and one we get asked by clients. The answer depends on a lot of factors, but in regards the overall outcome, we would say that if you have interior design completed first, then the property will be more impressive. However it depends on whether you have the budget for interior design services, whether you feel the works you are doing warrant it and how you want to transform the condo.

Another factor to consider also, is how complicated the renovation or remodel you wish to do. If you are gutting the inner space, changing rooms, creating new space, adding built in furniture, adding a new kitchen, transforming bathrooms etc, then we would strongly advise your first step, is to work with our interior designer first. Most of our clients have interior design and engage our interior design to work with them. The main reason is they wish to develop their ideas, have suggestions and creative input from the designer and totally remould their home. There is no doubt there are a lot of benefits to using our interior designer. Especially, as they are trained in the creative process, understand space, materials, colour matching, styles and ambience.

You can see the floor plans, change the space, have detailed drawings of built in furniture and create a wonderful new ambience. This of course can all be seen in colour 3D renders. From our experience, the best projects and the ones that transform a space into something really special, are always those that have interior design.
